  1. I learned nothing. The most memorable character in this book is Angelina's doll because it's special 2 me. I have my own doll. I would recommend this book to people who like dolls. I would rate this book a 10 because of that special doll.

  3. waht i learned after reading this book was that learning how to survive can be very difficult but if you are a nature person or you no allot of nature and how to survive on your own it can be easy but still sort of difficult

  4. Santiago is most memoriable because he is so calm and gentle with peoples fellings and he puts his sister first before he can help himself

  5. UHM NO i cant relate this story to my life because obvisously iam living in a house and he is trying to survive on a boat with no food and he is trying to get to the united states and iam living in the United States!!!

  8. i think that is really brave to say that you have a doll
    guess what i have a blankey and a stuffed animale and they do mean alot to me to and i think it would mean more if i was in anelina's situation:)

  9. What in the world was that comment?! This book is not about dolls, it is about life on the ocean. who would think this book called 'Red Midnight' would be about dolls? this book is a bout running away from one of the bigget wars in Central America.

  10. I agree with sarah c. and how I live inthe U.S.A. right know so I can't connect to the book and I never been on a boat in a story EVER!And I would raye this book a 8 out of 10.

  11. i learned that santiago never gave up even when things were going bad. Angilina was the most memarable charecter because she remindid me of my little cousin. i can not relate too this story. i would not recomend this book to a friend becuase it not a good book. i rate this book 3 out of 10 justin.l

  12. i have learned really nothing about this book all i really liked of it was when santiago and his sister were on the boat that was the most interresting part of the book i did not like it as much as i thought i would:(i would rate this book 3 out of 10 i would not recamend this book to others its not really understandable:)
